Fast and slow reloads

Just a heads up.

Some of you may have noticed that when you reload it wastes an entire clip.

I thought this was a bug because it didn't effect the 360 version

Turns out it's a new feature that depends on how much pressure you put on the reload button

Put normal pressure on the button and you get a fast reload which wastes the entire clip.

Put slight pressure on the button and you get a slower reload that doesn't waste bullets.

It takes some practice getting the pressure right to do slow reloads but it's a good feature once you master

Well, if you have it on your gun, you can't go into ADS with it but you (i think) reload faster and you switch to it faster. If you don't have it on your gun, you can keep a Forgrip but the switch time will be slower from rifle to GL, and you can ADS.

Does reload cancelling actually reload your weapon faster?

 

The more I play the more i'm convinced this feature is a bug.

In private matches you have to double-tap the reload button to do a fast reload. It even tells you to do that in the help file.

But in match making a single tap is enough to trigger a fast reload. It's as though pressing the button at a normal speed and pressure registers as two button presses instead of one.

 

This is a new feature of the game. However, it is supposed to work like this...

- A single push of the reload button will do a normal reload.

- A double press of the reload button will do a quick reload, but you lose any remaining bullets from the last clip.

I imagine the problem may be that the controller you are using is old and maybe senses double taps too easily.

 

No it's noting to do with the controller. It happens on both my controllers, it's the game.

It also happens in the ps4 version.

Also the fact that it doesn't happen in private games and only happens in multiplayer suggest there is some kind of bug in the game.

I have all 4 console versions of the game and this bug only happens in the xbox one and ps4 version.

It does not happen in the xbox 360 or ps3 versions.

There are way too many people who think this bug is a normal feature when in fact it is a bug. Because of this they are not complaining and because they are not complaining it is less likely to get noticed by the developers.

So yes fast reload is a new feature but it is bugged on the new gen consoles
