Hello everyone..I have a few questions and would appreciate your help with me purchasing an Xbox one.

I've been dying to get one and I have been over seas floor quite a while and I have a few questions.

1. What are some of the most affordable bundle deals right now for the system?

2. I've heard that it handles cable TV better than cable. If this is true then how so? I love my ESPN and adult swim, can I truly cancel cable when I purchase one?

3. I've heard that I need internet connection with this system if that's true can I use my cell phone as the hot spot?

Welcome to the family. Albeit somewhat dysfunctional.

1. There are a bunch of affordable bundles right now with the announcement of the Xbox One S. Here is a link to the bundles available.

2. It uses a HDMI pass-through to take your existing channels and sets it up in a easy to use UI. + Voice navigation with Kinect. You do not cut the cord. But you can get Hulu , Netflix, etc and an over the air receiver.
   
3. Internet is recommended but not required. I would not use a phone to connect. Not sure if that can even be done.

2. You can route your cable through your cable box and then through the Xbox One to use their interface instead. You still have to have a cable subscription and cablebox though.

3. You can use a hotspot, but I wouldn't do so on a long term basis since game updates can be a few GB in size and you could easily use all of your plans data or go over, assuming you have data limits on your plan.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you have to do an update before you can use a new Xbox One, so Internet would be required.
