the best way i do it, is just go from the crawler and just work your way through the map. It helps if you have the FL bot, so you can make those long extended jumps.

I'm not using Station - Infrastructure mode. I don't want xbox to be connected via Ethernet to the AP or anything.

The installation look this way:

First stage:

WAN wired to Netgear Router-Modem wired to Edimax AP

Second Stage:

Elements connected via Wi-Fi to Edimax AP:

1) Laptop

2) Printer

3) PC

4) XBOX

Everything beside XBOX is already connected using AP wifi (SSID 2 Channel 11). A proof for that is 3 post above.

So as summary I can get my PC working with AP via wifi and can't do the same with XBOX.

I'm using AP as an AP (sorry if I misunderstund Your question - I don't use WIndows future for seting, only the web configuration - screen shot below). Just disable the WPS -dosn't work. DHCP on AP was enable only for a try - I want only the router to by
an DHCP server.

But there is a progress: I disable security (alll of it) and xbox finally connect to Live server. Of course it can't stay this way and on the AP I have only 3 security settings possible on the AP:

1) WEP

2) WPA - WPA-TKIP; WPA2 -AES ; WPA2 - Mixed

3) WPA Radius - don't have an Radius on my local net

Ad 1. It's out of any suggestion

Ad 2. WPA-AES & WPA-Mixed - does one I checked already and dosn't work.

With of the encryption do You think will be the best, or how to make XBOX work with WPA2 Mixed?

I did change the address of my AP (0.1 is Router, 0.2 is AP)
