Far Cry Primal

Anyone else thinking about getting this?

Looks pretty cool, definitely different.

I really liked Far Cry 3 and 4 so I'll probably end up picking this one up too.

Far cry primal

I have purchased Far Cry Primal twice and both times they do not work.. and I know that the Xbox works perfectly fine... do you suggests anything so I can fix this issues ..

 

I like the look of it but can't make my mind up.

Think i'll wait until the price drops a bit first.Really must clear some of my backlog & PVsZ2 is out in a couple of weeks as well which I've been looking forward to for ages.

 

Interesting idea but Ubi are starting to churn these Far Cry games out as often as there AC series, hence leading to a little bit of overkill.

It's on a rental list but with The Division out 2 weeks after this and Dirt Rally a few weeks after that, it may not get a look in. Could be a good summer drought filler.

 

Im leaving it for others impressions and a price drop....

 

To Ubisoft's credit their "Far Cry" franchise has always been top drawer visually and gameplay wise.

Unfortunately there is the danger they fall into "Re-Skin" territory.

After all "Far Cry 4" is very much a re-skinned "Far Cry 3". Despite being an excellent game it's still much of the same stuff you did last time around and if you over-saturate the market people begin to lose interest, especially when you throw in all the
Season Pass, Day 1 DLC and several different pre-order version junk that is, unfortunately, becoming 'the norm' for this Generation.

If it's different enough and fun to play I'll definately pick one up.

 

Waiting on reviews. Like Az I'm concerned about the yearly ish release cycle they are entering.

 

I don't really care about reviewers opinions and I made my decision to pick up the special edition for this game. I also am shocked that I haven't heard of a season pass for this game.

 

Pre-ordered,pre-downloaded and ready to play.....

 

I agree about 4 being very similar to 3, it was a great game but at times it did feel like "I've already done this before" haha.

I think what really has me interested in Primal is just how different it looks, the setting the weapons. It doesn't look like there are even any guns this time around. I think it'll be a fun playthrough.

I've always kind of wanted to play game with this type of setting.

 

I wasn't going to bother until the price came down (like others here), but it's on cd keys for £24 for uplay....I couldn't resist.

 

Ubi and their AC/FC model, idk. Was not a fan of FC3 or FC4, however this may be interesting.

 

I haven't played any of the Far Cry games but this one has me wicked interested. I'm likely going to pick it up. Because saber tooth tigers.

 

bowski. I'd imagine you'd really enjoy it being totally new to the games. Far Cry games in my experience are generally very well made and fairly bug free, it's just the last few have been pretty samey.

Primal will hopefully mix it up a bit, taking guns out and using animals as weapons should be fun.
