Far Cry 6 Crashing on Launch

Every time I try to launch Far Cry 6 through Epic Games it crashes instantly with the following message:

The procedure entry point cef_is_cert_status_minor_error

could not be located in the dynamic link library libcef.dll

I am running the latest version of Windows 11 and just installed the game. I have tried several things like clearing my Temp Files, deleting some Visual C++ files, and reinstalling them. Nothing has worked so far. Does anybody know what is happening?

Try running the System file checker

Step 1: Go to Start and type cmd in the search box.

Step 2: Right-click on the result and select Run as administrator from the right-click menu to open Command Prompt in elevated mode.

Step 3: In the Command Prompt (Admin) window, run the below command and hit Enter: sfc /scannow

This process takes a bit longer to complete, so wait till it’s over. It will find the corrupt files and repair them accordingly.

Reboot your PC and try opening the application that showed the error and the error should not come up anymore.

After running the command it said, "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

And the problem is still occurring, any other ideas?

I reinstalled Ubisoft Connect and it started working just perfect.

First try to re-register the Microsoft Store

- Press Windows + X keys together and click on Windows PowerShell (Admin).

- Now type in the command and hit Enter: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\\AppXManifest.xml”}

- Restart the PC.

If that fails, try to disable Proxy Server:

First check if proxy server is enabled;

- Press Windows logo key + I, to open Settings.

- Click on Network & Internet and select Proxy from the left pane.

- Under Automatic proxy setup, toggle the switch to On for Automatically detect settings.

- Now, under Manual proxy setup, toggle the switch to Off for Use a proxy server
