Far cry 5 just stopped working.

When you say every other game works, do you mean you can play disc based games already installed, or do you mean you can actually install games from disc?

Cause running a game already installed only requires the disc.as a "proof of purchase" and doesnt require much actual disc reading, whereas installation is different.

The fact that you can play games already installed may not rule out an issue with your drive.

Maybe try installing a game from disc if you haven't already done so, that way you can definitely rule out an issue with the drive. If it doesnt install, it could be a drive issue, therefore the console would need to be repaired

I know everyone is trying to help, and I don’t want to sound rude, but I have tried all of these steps. And what is microsoft supposed to do when i don’t have internet.

Hi a lot of games are doing that now and I don't know why.Just Call Microsoft and tell them what's going on.I know they can help you.

Based on everything you’ve already tried it sounds like the physical game disk is fine. Have you tried to use as different physical game to make sure that there is no issue with the drive in your Xbox?

Lets try a different disk to see if the issue is with the drive inside your Xbox.
