Far cry 5 doesnt start installing

    Far cry 5 doesnt start installing


    when i insert the disc while offline, it does not even start the installation or it gets stuck at 0%.

    Gonna pass on this or wait till its 5 bucks or so. I picked up far cry 2 for $2.50 and havent put much time in so far but it doesnt compell me to play more of it. Kinda bland right from the start

    try powercycling your console by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds.

    Try again afterwards.

    Hi Guyman6789, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    We will be following the steps on this link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/...

    First clears the locally saved data and then try reinstalling the game:

    "1. Eject the disc from your console.

    2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    3. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.

    4. Select Clear local saved games.

    Note Selecting this option will not delete any games or progress you have saved in the Xbox cloud. It will only clear data you have saved locally.

    5. Select Yes to confirm.

    6. Once your console restarts, try installing the game again"

    If that didn't work, you may need to install the game disc offline.
