Far Cry 4 will not start!!

Far Cry 4 was a first day buy for me since I love all of the games. When I first installed it I had no problems playing it. Now I have not played it since that first day and yesterday I tried to play it. I boot it up it goes to the very first screen that
is the picture on the front of the box. Then it goes to a black screen and then goes back to my home screen.

I deleted the game, unplugged my One and then re-installed the game. It is now doing the same thing as before. Has anyone else ran into this issue? If so is there a fix that I can get so I can play more of this game? I installed the game directly to the
One just incase that may be an issue.

Help me One users, you are my only hope.

Cannot start the game - Xbox says 'Do you Own this game or App'. Digital Version.

Perhaps I should name the game.... Far Cry 4 will not start for me on the Xbox One.

I just got far cry 4, if you liked far cry 3, then your going to love far cry 4.

 

I've got this problem to alot if my friends do to...

 

It's because of the ddos atack on live. There are issues accessing content still.

 

Really? That is kind of lame if Live is down and I can't play single player for certain games. That will make me get rid of the One altogether. Not everyone plays MP and games should not have to be hooked up just to play the Campaign.

 

Psn is having the same issue. Live isn't down just a portion of it is.

 

I am also having an issue with Halo, it keeps freezing on me after the sign in screen. It is rather frustrating.

 

Halo MCC is another story. That collection is junk and full of other issues.

 

My Far Cry 4 game keeps getting stuck at sign in. It says "notification" your connection to far cry 4 servers has been lost. You will be returned to main menu and asks me to press okay. I do this and it remains stuck. I cannot play my game. The Xbox one
sucks.

 

My far cry 4 keeps freesing up as well

 

When that happens I open another game, then go right back to Farcry. It normally works doing it that way.

 

It's asking me if I have a disc... I downloaded it and played it just fine yesterday, what's going on here?

 

Its not xbox fault. Ubisoft requires a connection to online service for the game to work. Also there was an issue where far cry fell off the Microsoft store and kept people from people being able to play it. Its an issue with ubisoft and how the games require
online authentication to play. PSN and sony have gone this route as well for games.

 

Whenever games freeze or keep loading, dashboard, hit start and then click on quit. You should also dump your cache bi-monthly (hold down the power on/off button for 10 seconds.) Lastly, if it is closer than 5ft, move your WiFi and router further from your
Xbox. It is best to run a direct line to your system and bypass splicing your Ethernet strength.
