Far Cry 4 on Series X display severely distorted (Black lines) lower quarter of screen

Bought Far Cry 4 Limited Ed on release, only just got around to playing it on Series X wherever you're in gameplay the lower quarter of screen has black lines and when you jump in game this drags up to. Playing on 4K TV had no issues with other games. Tried 3 reinstalls but still the same, only in game play does it occur. As a last resort connected my Xbox One X installed and issue not there? Both consoles did the same update

I'm at a loss as to what is causing this any help would be much appreciated

May I know if you tried another HDMI cable just to test?

Or try installing the game to internal xbox storage if maybe you have it installed on another drive

In the meantime try this:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and try again

I am having a weird pixel problem On dashboard the far right lower corner has one green pixel that should be black.. It is always on dashboard. And on nba 2k 2014 some screens have the outside edge lines with the wrong color pixels also...

I'm sorry to say that I'm having a little trouble seeing what you're talking about here. I see a bit of distortion in the first picture but it just looks like the normal distortion that comes from taking a picture of a screen. Can you tell us where these black
lines are that you're seeing?

I really like the Left 4 Dead series. Also the Far Cry series is a lot of fun in co-op.

I have a 38 inch monitor in the middle of my desk, and two 27 inch monitors on the side.

The 38 inch monitor is several inches taller.

In x-plane, the two side monitors have the left and right view outside of the cockpit and fit the screen properly. Those windows are set in the controls.

In flight simulator 2020, stretching the application window across the different screen works (hitting Alt+Enter to enter window mode) as far as the application running across all monitors, but the display is distorted.

So that is not actually supporting multiple monitors, that is more like using the available monitors, but not being able to set them properly.
