    Far Cry 4 "Installation is almost done"


    Earlier today I attempted to start my copy of Far Cry 4 Gold Edition (Xbox One Store Download) and was getting the error code 0x87de07d1 and the game was showing as unavailable and would not open. As the forums did not have any answers that were working
    at the time I attempted to uninstall and re-install the game. After waiting for the game to install along with its DLC I now get the following message when trying to launch the game.

    "Installation is almost done.

    If you have a game disc insert is now. Otherwise make sure the person who bought this is signed in to Xbox Live, and then click Finish."

    My only available options are "Switch Profile" and "Cancel"

    I called Xbox support and we restarted the system multiple times and attempted to reload my profile, none of this changed anything. According to the representative on the phone (who was very helpful and kind) this is an emerging issue on their side. He instructed
    me to build this thread and set up a follow up with me.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much. I need to kill me some honey badgers...

    Every time I change a game to another one (disk), I get the message:

    "Installation is almost done.

    If you have a dame disk, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure the person who bought this is signed in to Xbox Live, then choose Finish."

    I hit Finish and it says "installing:100%" for few seconds then plays fine, but is it normal? i'm signed in, the disk is in, so is it installing minor updates or something? I only change games every few days, so I guess it could be...

    I've had issues a couple of times where my currently installed games were being treated as if they're new.

    I simply unplug my Xbox One from the outlet for about 5 minutes and turn it back on, problem gone Far Cry 4 "Installation is almost done" :)

    I don't know what changed but I went to sleep on the night I made this post and the next day when I tried the game it worked with no issues. The following day there was an update so I'm guessing they got whatever it was fixed in my case anyway.

    I just got far cry 4, if you liked far cry 3, then your going to love far cry 4.

    I have the same issue... this happens on multiple games, although they are installed on the console.

    The installation shows to be 99% complete, but it will never finish the installation. I was unable to play Titanfall due to this error.
