    Far Cry 4 announced for November

    FC1 I tried on both Xbox & 360, both of which really felt like it didn't play right, so I passed on FC2.

    But FC3, although prime on PC, plays really well on 360.

    There seems to be a steady number of games being released for the near future for the X1, which is great.

    I'll agree with bstn, it would be nice if it was only for this gen of consoles.

    Loads of games have suffered from their yearly release schedule. It killed Guitar Hero and Rock Band, Need For Speed is hopeless every time, of course CoD is the obvious one but even Battlefield 4 was a good example that rushing a game is a bad idea and
    really they're just the big sellers. There's too many sports games which I can't really comment on as I don't play them and I'm sure I missed a few others too.

    That said, it has been mentioned that Far Cry 3 was released in 2012 and if the developers said that a sequel wouldn't take too long, I'd say that 2 years is more than a decent amount of time to finish a quality product.

    Not really suprised by the announcement of a new Far Cry,just surprise Ubisoft didn't wait E3.....

    Is that,means they got more to announce at E3 ?....

    I thought that E3 for Ubisoft would be more focused on this year's Assassin's Creed game, I guess the early announcement gives them time to discuss both and not take the limelight away from any particular game.

    Far Cry 3 was a top ten game for me on last gen. Can't wait for Far cry 4......Now I just have to wait for 'Red Dead Redemption 2' and Borderlands 3 (Next gen only)

    So excited. I could not stand the first two Far Cry games, but Far Cry 3 is one of the high lights of last gen for me. i had so much fun with it.

    My son likes far cry and is really happy about its realease date, but I have to say I was really looking forward to the division, but happy to wait for a polish title, and there are some very good looking games coming out to keep me entertained either way.
