    Far Cry 3 Xbox 360 Download Fail


    I know its a bit late to download this game, but I previously bought it and never got to complete the game. I wanted to complete it as I remember it being quite a fun game but now it wont allow me to download
    it. I will go into my download history and download it but after 5 minuets of it downloading it just says Download failed. I tried deleting my profile off my xbox and reinstalling it and clearing system cache. Please Help. I just want to complete all the outposts

    game download fails at 80 % and restarts

    I recently bought far cry 4 for xbox 360. The Download fails every time at 80 % and then restarts. However I do not get an error message. I've already tried to delete all partial downloads, and cleared my xbox live and system cache. It still doesn't work...
    Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    Have you tried to re-download it from the Marketplace instead? That might work better Far Cry 3 Xbox 360 Download Fail :)

    not really doing it from the marketplace may prompt him/her to rebuy it should always be downloaded via the download history.

    I agree, that can happen, it's happened to me on a few games but only because I migrated my account... any games I bought in the UK via the marketplace, I now would have to re-purchase using US currency. However, the OP can still try to go to the marketplace,
    if it prompts for a new purchase then just decline. There's no harm in trying Far Cry 3 Xbox 360 Download Fail :)

    I agree, that can happen, it's happened to me on a few games but only because I migrated my account... any games I bought in the UK via the marketplace, I now would have to re-purchase using US currency. However, the OP can still try to go to the marketplace,
    if it prompts for a new purchase then just decline. There's no harm in trying :)

    Really looks like it plays just like Far Cry 2. Far Cry 2 was extremely lame and very very boring for me. Hopefully Far Cry 3 succeeds where Far Cry Instincts and Far Cry 2 failed.
