    Far Cry 3 (Backwards compatible) Game difficulty resetting?


    Summary: my far cry 3 save data difficulty has for some reason reset itself from "master" difficulty to "Survivor" and i really need to know how to make it go back to the hardest difficulty.

    Edit: Within the game it still says it is Master difficulty, however on the main menu before i load the game it says "survivor" difficulty.

    long story: Recently started playing Far Cry 3 on my xbox one and had to make a new save (due to my old data being on my xbox 360) and i set the difficulty to "Master" (the hardest difficulty) however i am now half way through the story line and for some
    reason the difficulty has just reset back to "survivor" (medium difficulty). Is there anyway to fix this? I really do not want to have to restart all this work again, especially if there is a risk of the same issue occurring.

    Yes some very good games need to be backwards compatible like Far Cry 4 or Max Payne 3...

    Need everyone's opinion. GTA 5 or Far Cry 4?

    I've only played GTA V on the 360 and it was a good game which by all accounts is better on the One.

    Far Cry 4 is fantastic - a very good looking game with loads to do in a big area to do it in. The story is forgettable - nowhere near as good as Far Cry 3 - but the story is only a small percentage of the game. Unfortunately, it felt a little bit like Far
    Cry 3.1 which isn't a bad thing as such.

    Far Cry 4 is also £9.60 which is an absolute no brainer!!!!!

    Slightly off topic, does anyone know whether the arcade Far Cry game is backwards compatible or is on list for backwards compatibility?

    I rather see MOH Warfighter as games with gold. Even though I own it but makes it backward compatible. Bad Company 2 and MOH Warfighter are two games I want backward compatible as well as Far Cry 2 and 3.

    Far Cry 2 and three are backwards compatible with the Xbox One, but unfortunately Far Cry 4 is not. This is why it does not show on your owned games.
