    Far Cry 3 Backward Compatible Error


    I recently noticed that Far Cry 3 was available for download via backwards compatibility. I attempted to download the game from my 360 disk. I selected install and for about 2-3 minutes nothing happened, then all of a sudden I received an error message that
    reads, "For some reason %2 took too long to start. (0x80070079)". I have no clue what this means, and I have been unable to find and information anywhere online on how to go about fixing this. Has anyone else had this issue?

    I want Bad Company 2 and MOH Warfighter and Red Dead Redemption and Far Cry 2 & 3 to be backward compatible.

    Hey SpecOps Force90! That error code is usually a network issue. Are you experiencing any issue with installing other games or multiplayer? Additionally, can you post up your

    detailed network statistics     as well as your NAT so we can take a look? Thanks!

    Need everyone's opinion. GTA 5 or Far Cry 4?

    I've only played GTA V on the 360 and it was a good game which by all accounts is better on the One.

    Far Cry 4 is fantastic - a very good looking game with loads to do in a big area to do it in. The story is forgettable - nowhere near as good as Far Cry 3 - but the story is only a small percentage of the game. Unfortunately, it felt a little bit like Far
    Cry 3.1 which isn't a bad thing as such.

    Far Cry 4 is also £9.60 which is an absolute no brainer!!!!!

    Slightly off topic, does anyone know whether the arcade Far Cry game is backwards compatible or is on list for backwards compatibility?
