    Far Cry 2 Dogon Seidiko rescue - a bug?


    I'm playing Far Cry 2 on my Xbox One, through backwards compatibility. I'm currently 54% of the way through, but I've hit a snag.

    I accepted the mission to rescue Naseem Davar from Dogon Seidiko. It's the one where she's on the first floor of a building, but it's easy to miss that as the ladder you need to use to get there looks like a log. I've reached her, and she's thanked me for
    rescuing her. She says we have to split as we can move faster then. But when I move out, the mission indicator still shows where she was held captive. I've returned to the building and found it empty, and gone to the bar and found her there, but the mission
    still won't complete. I've tried picking up another mission to effectively abandon this one, but I can't find a way how.

    Is there anything I can do? Both my save points are after I accepted the mission, and I've tried continuing from them both, to no avail. This game is almost ten years old. Surely there can't be a bug of this magnitude still in there?

    You have to dowload the app of uplay , and after you tap at far cry rescue the points and take the theme.

    Really looks like it plays just like Far Cry 2. Far Cry 2 was extremely lame and very very boring for me. Hopefully Far Cry 3 succeeds where Far Cry Instincts and Far Cry 2 failed.
