Fans that are sort of broken and sort of not?

I've had my 360e for a while now and recently it has been having a odd issue with its fans. Recently a message appeared to let me know that my xbox has overheated within minutes of operation and it needs to shut down. At first I believed
that my fans had gone bad, especially since it wouldn't be the first time this has happened to me, but I then realized that when I turn it on again it has no issue for hours on end. Upon further inspection I found that every time I turn on my xbox after it
hasn't been on for a while the fans will not begin to spin at all, but after it overheats and shuts down when I turn on the xbox again the fans begin to work just fine. I thought maybe my quick fix would be to just turn the xbox on and off each time I use
it until I see the fans working but sadly they never begin to spin, but just like before they finally do work again as soon as the next time it overheats. I'm baffled, and due to the odd nature of this problem I'm clueless if the fans just need replaced or
if it is a much more complicated fix.

If you are referring to the daily challenges though, then yes, they are all solvable. Youtube is a good resource for solutions to those.

All that we can really tell you (given that this is the official Xbox 360 forums), is to send the console in for repair...if it's out of warranty MS charges around 100 bucks...for opening up your console and replacing the fans. Because apparently that's
how hard it is to do that! No seriously though. That's all anyone here can tell you to do. It could also be a power issue but that's unlikely.
