    Hi, I have the latest drivers for wheel etc. and it works fine on PC on other games although the others are on steam and PC not Xbox. So when I start forza 7 the wheel is still on and connected, but when I try and configure it, the game only see's it as
    a controller, so while it does input functions to the game it's not behaving like the wheel should. Anyone else have the problem? Anyone resolve it!!??

    make forza horizon 3 a racegame again not with kiddy inside games but real racing and better corneri

    Buy a wheel, FANATEC CSW v2, if you want to experience this game as a racing simulator. That goes for Forza 6 too! I have this wheel and never play Forza or any racing game without itFanatec V2 Wheel on PC won't work - connects to game as a controller only?? ;)

    I'm in preview program .. got the new dashboard.. now my Fanatec wheel won't respond. Hard reset

    Got the new dashboard.. now Fanatec wheel won't respond to commands when pushing the buttons. controller works fine. Am I able to go back to old dashboard to see if my wheel will work again? Did a hard reset but didn't work.

    It is a simple choice for me. If my Fanatec wheel won't work on the new Xbox, I will not buy one. I have a gaming PC and a PS3 that it does work on just fine.

    Steering Wheel Button Mapping Support

    It's a Fanatec Formula V2 wheel. I previously had a Logitech G920 which also had a couple of buttons that wouldn't map on Xbox. There is no Xbox app for these wheels, they have software on pc to update the firmware which I did. I did some searching and
    reading on this issue and it appears to be a limitation on Xbox that allows only as many buttons as a standard xbox controller does to be used on wheels or other input devices. Given that these buttons are mappable on PC there should be a way to enable them
    on Xbox as additional buttons.

    If you play on PC, make sure to install your wheel drivers and be on the latest wheel firmware, if available.

While these wheels work on default or custom wheel settings, button mapping and force feedback are not properly recognized. These issues will be addressed in an upcoming update for Forza Horizon 3. In addition, there are additional wheels that we plan on bringing on board, notably Fanatec products such as the ClubSport V2 Xbox One Hub and the Fanatec CSR models. Support for these Fanatec wheels will be arriving in Apex beginning in late September, with updates for both Windows 10 and Apex.

    From this, unfrotunately G923 is not compatible with Forza Horizon 3
