Fan Speed running full speed all the time?

There is no in between, there's off and 100% on my fan. I believe the CPU Temp sensor is broken, can anyone confirm? This console was purchased used with no warranty sticker intact.

The fans in my XBone always run at full speed so it's incredibly loud. Something else to add to the "release day issue list."

Fan runs full speed.

Clear your hard drive of your gamertag and DLC. Be sure to format a usb stick on the pc and then configure it to the xbox so you can move your game saves to it first.

After you get the new console you'll be able to reaccess your DLC from your download history. You can access the download history on the console by going to System>Accounts>Download History.

Sorry you're having issues with your console fan running like that. I would first suggest unplugging the console to let it cool off for a few minutes, then plugging it back in to see if it starts going full speed immediately. If that doesn't work try doing
a factory reset. The steps for the factory reset are
here. If you're still having issues after both of those steps you'll likely need a repair. I would suggest following
this link to do the repair process.

It doesn't really matter how you have your xbox situated, so long as you have it in a well ventilated area, it should be fine. The xbox itself like onyx62is has stated could be faulty. You should be able to send it back to the store for a replacement.

Console is and has always been vertical and well ventilated.Kinect is in AUX port.What happens with my downloaded content when return it to store and they replace it?

Is the unit horizontal or vertical? I suggest putting slims in the horizontal position. (original Xboxes in the vertical) Also make sure the are no airflow obstructions around the sides and top or the unit.

Ok, perhaps there is an issue with the fan then. Have you considered returning the console to the store you purchased it from for an exchange?
