  1. Fan no longer spinning.

Hello this issue started a few hours ago i just received The new Naruto game and started installing it while this was happening I started watching TV after a while I came back and noticed the Xbox 360 slim had a red dot and turned it off and back on.

It seems to work fine for a moment but the fan no longer spins and the right hand side of the console gets very hot very quickly, luckily I have an external clip on fan but that's extremely loud is there any common way to fix this as I has alot going on
at the moment and don't want to have to send it off for repair.

All the best please get back soon fellow helpers.

    :)

  2. Xbox 360 Slim Overheating issue

Update: (I know super late.) I had this problem today and after checking for weird sighs I realized the big fan wasnt spinning. Or hot air coming out of it. Check man large fan if its spinning. If not try to place something that can get through the holes
and try pushing the fan and check if it begins spinning again.

Xbox 360 (white one) Doesn't load quick happen today and doesn't turn off straight away

It is possibly downloading content before it shuts down, turn off background downloads and hopefully you should not have any more delayed power offs, the fans keep spinning as long as the unit is on.

    Fan not spinning

Hello, DarkWOLFY321. I'm Arturo, a community user like you, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

Based on the information you provided, and the troubleshooting steps you already performed, this could be a hardware issue.

Additionally, it is important to clarify that we're not able to assist with self-repairs. Therefore, if you allow me, what I can recommend is getting your console inspected by a trusted technician in your city.

That way, they can help you to diagnose what's going on.

Your understanding regarding self-repairs guidance on these forums is appreciated.

    Regards,

    Arturo.

How do I launch Forza Motorsport on Pc after Update 3.0

Same here, start screen shows, fans spins up and after that the initial two "Cadillac.Corvette" pictures disappears and the fans are spinning down - done.

Volume of fan increases on shut off

It's normal. The cooling system is better designed in the slims and forces more heat out of the console. During shutdown, the fan will spin a little longer as it's trying to blow out the hot air; Especially so after a prolonged gaming session.

Loud fan when playing certain games on Xbox Series S

some games push the APU more so that generates more heat and therefore the fan spins faster to expel air. the fan spinning faster is normal.
