    Hi there we have two xbox consoles in our home, one for me and one for my son, i started his account through my xbox and added him to my family so that we didn’t have to get more than one subscription to xbox gold, game pass ect. For some reason he once
    somehow got xbox gold himself and i do not know how to join him back into my family. So now i am stuck paying for xbox gold twice and for some reason i cant even get xbox gold because of a msg that says “ The payment option on an existing subscription has
    been declined and is blocking this purchase

    A: An Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack subscription cannot exceed 36 months. If your family members have more than 72 months of Xbox LIVE Gold membership remaining combined when they are added to the Xbox LIVE Gold family pack, any remaining time on their subscriptions
    in excess of the 72 months will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund for any time beyond 72 months.
