    was recently given an xbox 360 but have since discovered it has a family timer on it....4 pin pass on it

    dashboard is 2.0.16547.0

    console serial [Mod Removed]

    have tried everything to reset to factory defaults but no luck

    can you please help

    Yes you correct but it would be alot more useful for the timer to be set for each account that way it will not affect anyone else's game play and makes everyone happy.

    family timer

    You will need to contact xbox customer support so they can provide you with the unique Passcode to reset your console back to factory default, have the console serial number on hand and pen and paper, they'll tell you where to enter it.

    can I use xbox live uk support and if so do you know the telephone number

    do you also know if I will get charged to have the xbox reset using unique passcode

    If you are in the UK you can use this number: •020 7365 9792 or 0800 587 1102

    As far as I know there is no charge for resetting the passcode.

    There is no family timer feature in XBOX One like there was in 360. I encourage all that want this feature to speak up using the XBOX feedback and suggestion site:
