    Family sign in problem


    I'm trying to sign my son into his xbox account, he's in my family group. Everytime I try to put in his password, it's either incorrect (which I know isn't true) or I get told to reset the password. I've reset it 5 times within the last week and we still can't log into his account. I have a xbox x which I tested to see if he could sign into and we got him signed in on that but not his xbox one. We've done a factory reset and cold restart. I'm just about to get him a whole new account if this persists.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    Please can you answer some questions, so I can try and get my head around what may be happening:

    1. Is the console connected to a network and have Internet connection?
    2. Can you sign into other accounts on that console?
    3. Can you sign into your son's account online via a web browser with the username and password?

    Have you tried signing out and signing back into the same account you downloaded it before? I had the same exact problem. All i needed to do is sign out and sign back into the account and it let me download the game.

    Have you been invited into a Microsoft family as well? If you did you might want to speak with the person who is the organizer of the family.

    Hi yes i managed to solved the problem by signing out of the family and back in and out and somehow it ended up working.
