Family Sharing between 2 xbox consoles in the same home

We have had the xbox one with Gold for a few years. There are 4 accounts on the xbox; one for the parent (me) and each kid is setup with their own account. The 3 kids accounts are part of "Microsoft family" so I can control their screen time and monitor
their activities. I purchase all games digitally (disks get scratched) under my parent account and have the xbox set as "Home" so the kids can play the games that I download. We just purchased the xbox one x and for the past few days I have been trying to
figure out configure the second console so that all the digital games I've purchased on the 1st xbox can be shared with the new xbox one x. At the end of the day I want any of the 3 kid accounts to be able to go to any xbox in the house, log in and play any
online game the same way they do today.

From what I have read, this feature is tied to the xbox home feature. I logged into the new xbox one x with my parent account and set it as "my xbox home" and was able to download and install all the digital games but when I did that the 3 child accounts
on the 1st xbox one could not play online games. Is there a step i'm missing?

Ok so if I am continuously logged in on the non-Home xbox with my parent account the other child accounts can log in and play online games?

What you need to do is log in on the new console with the account that has the Gold subscription, and that was used to purchase the games, and make the console the Home Xbox. This will then let anyone use the console and play the games and use the gold subscription
without you needing to log in. Bear in mind though, you will have to be continuously logged in on the other console to play games and use the gold subscription.

I have the same setup in my house, but you can only share between 2 consoles. The home and on other.

Minecraft is a paid game, so it will require a Game Pass Core or Ultimate membership in order to play online multiplayer.

You can share Game Pass between 2 consoles at the same time, by enabling one as the Home Xbox, but at this time you cannot share Game Pass between 3 consoles or accounts.

You can game and gold share with them on the second console. You add there xbox as your home. You add your xbox as there home

You add all the accounts to both consoles. Viola you can share all games and gold between the 2 consoles. As long as they play on the co sole set as your home they can change accounts and have access. And yes you can still control there accounts as
family and child accounts and have full control.
