i have a xbx 360 elite. family settings is on and i cannot remember the password. is there anyway to bypass it? idk if this helps but its from 2015 console 163310704208

Family settings password

In order for you to access live you would have had to create an email address and password to connect to your gamertag. That is the information you need.

We are setting up our xbox 360 and while doing so, I'm trying to set up the family settings. It's asking me for a password to make changes.....I've never set up a password...and to change the password it's asking me for my old
password!!!!@#%# I repeat, I've never set up a password, how do I bypass this to set up the family settings?

If you can still sign in on the console , you can check the Login email of your account on your Xbox 360 console under settings > profile > account security > current Microsoft account. Once you know the login email , you can try resetting the password on
https://account.live.com/password/reset . If it fails or you no longer have access to the security proof like email/phone , you can try using the account recovery form https://account.live.com/acsr at least try it twice. If all else fails, contact Xbox Support

Please attempt to follow our how to reset the pass code for parental controls on Xbox 360 support article
to reset the passcode for the currently set content restrictions.

If it was sold to you as new, stop what you are doing and exchange it at your retailer for a replacement. New 360 consoles do not have family passcodes set from the factory.
