Family Settings for IE Not Working

So I need help with my family settings for my Xbox one for internet explorer. In the family settings that I'm in I'm set up as the "child" and my roommate is set as the parent. Long story short I had an addiction to internet that I'm not proud of and I
wanted my roommate to set up a family account where I () am set as the child and my roommate is the parent. Everything else works fine but for some reason when I go to the internet and click on ask for permission, my Xbox will ask for my ()
password/pass key and not pull up my roommates account and ask for his password. Everything else works fine. If I try change the family settings it won't let me because it recognizes me as the child. If I try to use an unrated app, it will pull up the parents
account and asks for it's password. Can someone please help fix this so that when I ask for permission on a web site it will pull up the parents account and ask for its password not mine, or make it so that if I click on ask for permission nothing pops up,
it was done before. I already talked with someone on the Xbox support line and they can't help me due to their restrictions.

    :)

Where are the supposed Bing search content control settings located? Bing results use content control for games but not for music and shows?!

Ok. I'm not sure if you tried this, so, here it go...

In your console, go to Settings »»» Family »»» Turn ON the Content Controls »»» Ratings and Content »»» Enter in every option and configure it as you wish.

In the Bing Search of you IE app, try to search the Settings button (not IE settings, but the BING Settings itself) and turn ON all the Safe search that are available

    Hope it helps

IE App - Circumventing Parental Controls

I have the same problem. I have family settings setup to where it prompts for the four digit code before using IE. But if I search for say, "ABC" it'll come up with an option to search using IE. And bam... instant unaccountable internet access.

    Can you please fix this?

Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription? To play an online multiplayer game you need to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

Kindly sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings using the organizer account and then click your Gamertag and then "block" the setting that has an arrow in this screenshot then click on "submit", after "allow" them again, and then submit. Perform a powercycle on your console after making the changes.
