Family Setting or Live Gold Issue ????

I have had a Live Gold Account for the last several years. We just purchased a Live Gold Account for my wife.

Since the purchase, we have had issues when logging into a game(s). If my wife is logged in on one XBOX and I go to log into another XBOX when I start a game it will go to the title screen and then bump me back to the home screen. If she logs out, then I
can log into without any issues.

The other day we were both in a MMO and I got kicked out, I could not start any game (Microsoft's or any other vendor) until she logged out.

It seems that it is one of two things - Family settings? Which I do not want to delete her since it states she will loose access to all digital content or out Live Gold accounts are screwed up somehow.

Has anyone seen this issue?

Thanks, however I am not sure of what you mean by "Home Xbox"

We have one Xbox in one room and another Xbox in another room.

We both have Xbox Live Gold Accounts.

On the Xbox that she plays on, does not have me logged in

On the Xbox that I play on, does not have her logged in.

If I log into my Xbox first and start playing, then there is no issue

If my wife logs first (on her Xbox) in or has not logged off the last session, then I am unable to start a game.

The Home Xbox is a feature that will allow you to share games, apps and subscription benefits on the console that you set it up to all the Xbox accounts that signs in to this console, here you can check this info:

Now, in regards of what you're saying, it seems like that's what's happening, when you switch accounts on your console with your account, the switch is happening locally, meaning that you're still using your wife's Xbox Live account, What I can recommend
doing is setting up the Home Xbox feature on the console that you play with your wife's account, then make sure that you sign out from your wife's Xbox Live account to sign back in to your Xbox Live account, in that way, you'll be able to enjoy her subscription
and games that she owns on her account.

Hello Simon, it seems that what's happening is that you are switching accounts locally on the console but you remain signed in onto your Wife's Xbox account, when this happens, you get kicked if your wife signs in onto another console because she is still
signed in onto the other console which I assume is the one where you play, I suggest you to set up the Home Xbox while being signed in on your wife's account on the console that you play and then just make sure that you're signing in to Xbox with your account,
in that way, your wife will shared his subscription benefits as well as games. I hope this explanation works for you. Let us know if you have more questions.
