Family Safety app issues when adding funds

The Family Safety app wouldn't allow me to add funds to my child's account. After several attempts and about an hour I found it took from four of my attempts. I now need to retrieve money back from the account.

How do I do this?

I am sorry to hear that.

Once you add funds to your account, you can't retrieve.

It can be used to puchase content on the Microsoft Store.

Even with your child having their own funds and bank, it's important to think about them making purchases that can cause their funds and bank accounts to be overdrawn. I would suggest reading through the Family and Online Saftey on Xbox Support to make an
informed decision.

The problem is not on Xbox. The problem is associated with the Microsoft Family Safety App as well as the online Family Safety website.

There was no option under the list of “products” close to the Family Safety App except under Xbox when I submitted this request for help. Nor is there a “chat” or “phone” support option for the App…

I appreciate the above info but it is all unrelated to the Family Safety App which affects use across more than just Xbox, such as laptop, online access etc. for kids in the family.

Any help on the App and notification settings within the App is what I am looking for support on.

What happens when you try signing in at account.xbox.com? If you're added as a child/member, you need to ask the organizer/parent account to manage your settings. You can also use Xbox family settings to change your settings: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/family-settings....
