Family reset help very hard

Hey hope your having an A-mazing day i am isa's mum so his dad put a passkey and set up all Microsoft settings basically maxed out but with teen restrictions his dad is not here anymore we can not get in touch for the password i want the restrictions off seen as though i can trust them my son is in the family group but can not leave i will tell you what it says when i get a response;-)

Welcome to the Microsoft Community forums.

Unfortunately, you will need to get his dad to kick them out of the family. The only other way to do this is for the children to wait until they are classed as an adult, then they will see an option to leave the family.

That is very odd. Do a hard reset, let us know if that helped.

I too am having the same issue but on a BellTV (Canada) tv box where if it goes to sleep, I cannot get video again on the tv, but everything else on the xbox still works.

I tried the 'hard reset' by holding the power button and resetting the xbox, and then immediately going to the tv app. It DOES work, but for my family to have to reset the xbox every time they wish to watch TV is extremely annoying. It does not personally
bother me to take an extra minute to reset it, but the other members in my family have become very aggravated.

Have you tried changing controller layout in game.

maybe try a hard reset see if that helps.
