Family profile

Hi there,

If your profile and his are not both in the same family pack then there is no way to transfer those points to the other profile, if both profiles are in the same family pack and your account is the primary account of the family pack you can give other profiles
allowence.

A family pack is a gold subscription for up to four family members (profiles) for a discounted price. The subscription gives access to online game play and certain apps.

The "Family package" is four profiles only,whether or not you can add other peeps to your family group is something i do not know.The lead profile of the "Family package" is the person who pays for the MS points via the "Family Centre" section on the dashboard.If
you can indeed add other profiles to the family group it would seem that the lead profile has no control over said profile regarding adding MS points to it............but i could be wrong.

Got an update, By making emails and messing around with the microsoft families stuff, This account is now the 'Child' In a family to a new profile. I can't however get this profile to be listed as a child on the console family.

If they already have a gamertag, they download their profile to the Xbox console where the Family Pack owner account is, then are added under
Settings | Family | Add Family Member . Once added to the Family Pack, they can download their profile to other consoles and play on those.

You have to add existing profiles to the Family Pack on the Xbox 360, after your profile has purchased the Family Pack. Your profile can purchase the Family Pack on Xbox.com
or on the console, but adding additional profiles to your Family has to be done on on a console where your profile is logged in. (After that, profiles can be moved or recovered to other consoles as they normally can, and they still remain part of the
Family Pack.)

There are a number of documents here with more information if you put "Family Pack" in the search box and select "Search Site". It wasn't obvious to me that any of them simply answers your question without wading through a lot of info, so I didn't
simply provide a link... but reading through a few of the docs might answer other questions in advance.
