    Family plan for Xbox game pass


    Hello,

    I currently have a game pass subscription and just purchased an Xbox one x. My son's are active duty military and they both have an Xbox One S

    Is there an upgrade option to a family plan so we can play online together? As it stands now, we both can't be connected at the same time.

    What upgrade options or packages are available and how do I upgrade it?

    Xbox Live Gold access on single 'home' Xbox Series S for family member

    From what I understand Games Pass isn't a sharable thing, and because Xbox Gold has come with Games Pass it also mustn't be shareable, because of this, Microsoft is rumoured to be bringing out a family plan for Games Pass so it can be shared with family members.

    Hopefully this will be officially announced soon as I think a lot of families out there would make use of it.

    How does the family plan of xbox ultimate game pass work?

    It sounds like you're sharing his subscription through the Home setting on the console and not an actual family plan. If that is the case, you will only have access to this subscription on the console.

    If you live in one of the regions where the Game Pass Ultimate Friends and Family Plan is currently available (Colombia, Chile, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sweden) your dad would specifically need to purchase that plan and not just regular Game Pass Ultimate and then add you to the plan as well. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/manage-subscriptions/xbox-game-pass-friends-family-faq
