I'm on the 1 month renewal. No family plan. Can I email them about the issue, or will I have to call the hotline?

Odd that you are still in the family but not on gold. You might want to have the primary account holder kick you both from the pack, have them (or you) talk to support to add an exception for your tags and readd as gold members.

You can add by having the profile on the same console or on xbox.com from the family center. Either method of adding requires the secondary accounts log in information.

no the gamertags must have an individual email for every gamertag regardless if on the family plan or not

the only thing that the primary account does is being the parental email and adjust family settings
