Family password problems

i traded up a 360 and has a family password on it the kid don't remember the password or the security question answer I need help with this thanks in advance

Family Pack Password Issue

Hello

Add someone to a Gold Family Pack

Go to the Family Center.

Click Add Family Member

Enter the email address for the family member’s Microsoft account. If you don’t know a family member’s Microsoft account, see Find your
Microsoft account or password for help.

Follow the on-screen instructions to enter their Microsoft account password and add them to the family.

password does not save, kinect doesn't log me in.

Same issue here. This is extremely annoying. All other family members are automatically signed in without problems, except me (primary account). It's not acceptable to have to sign in with password all the times, having everyone on the couch see my password
when it's entered.

Sorry to hear it. What you'll need to do is make sure the console is registered under your name then call phone support and they can walk you through the reset process for the pass code. Please click this link to get the number for your region Customer Support

As long as your talking about the Xbox 360 and as long as you are able to download your profile to the console they have actually set it up so you can reset it yourself the steps are in the following link.

Otherwise like M3tal Daz3 said you would have to contact xbox support.

Make sure that you have an adult Microsoft Account, then go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and sign in with your adult Microsoft Account.

Register the console's serial number to your account if not already done so.

After you registered the console, and it shows on the list of devices, click on "More Actions" and then "Reset Passcode" to reset the passcode for that console.
