Family parent permissions >>> Son games have been deleted!!!!

Hello all, Im no a Gamer but my kids are, Is it possible to add back games that no longer show under my sons profile that he is allowed to access, I can see the games on my daughter profile but not his.??? I don't want to have to re-buy the games so he
can play them...I really don't have a clue what gone wrong here.. Any suggestion would be welcome. Oh its on the XBOX ONE..

deleted parent account from xbox one - how to add a parent account

To make things easier for my kids, I deleted the parent account from my xbox one s console. I can still see the account but cannot log in as a parent. As a result I cannot manage permissions to allow a specific game. I also could not add the deleted parent
account back onto the console. When I go to family settings and try to add my parent account which is still showing, it says "you are unable to change x's settings". I cannot log out from the child's account and cannot log into my parent's account either.

Through the PC I have the correct relationship between the parent and child accounts, and I can manage some permissions there, but could not see how to move restrictions to a specific game.

Catch 22 - is there a way?

Were they accessible before and just suddenly disappear? Im assuming the settings hadnt been changed at all. I would start with maybe removing the bad profile from the xbox by following the steps here:Add or Remove a Microsoft Account on Xbox One
and then powercycle the console first (not restart) by following the instructions here:

Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

This step before adding the account back would ensure that any bad data being held by the xbox should be cleared and almost as if you were adding the profile back brand new with a fresh set of permissions.

Try disabling the accounts Parental Permissions first, then make the purchase from his account. Afterwards, reenable the Parental Permissions. Another work around (If you have separate consoles) is purchasing Game Pass on your account and setting your Son's console as your Home Xbox. This will allow for Game Pass Access on both consoles.

Hello JREYES94! As Mister Darcy verified, your account will not be removed from the Gold Family pack subscription for promoting to adult. You will still be a family member, you will just have added permissions! Make sure to check those permissions though,
as the parent of the family pack will still be able to add permissions to the account in question!

I've been having exactly the same issues with my son's restrictions.

I set it to no restrictions but he still gets asked to gain permission for loads of games and even YouTube.

I went all through the family setting trying different options but nothing worked.

All I could do in the end was to give permanent permission each time he was asked to gain permission.

Not ideal but it's the only thing that seems to work whilst the family restrictions is not working correctly.

Ok reading all of these questions. First VBucks is not DLC. They are just ingame money to purchase items. As far as child account do you have the child under a family account. If child request a purchase an email is sent to parent account asking for purchase
permission. Thats how I have it for my son under family account. He cant purchase anything without me giving the ok through the family account.
