    we are a few short days from ours expiring and microsoft still hasnt came up with a suitable answer for the numerous complaints from the xbox community.not very user friendly-the ceo of my company doesnt recieve a huge bonus-i dont get any bonus.microsoft
    makes their money off of apps and dlc i my self have downloaded thousands of add-ons from the marketplace.not a good way to treat customers not to mention the 300 plus games we own on 360.we cant afford $240/year for 4 seperate accounts thats insane we already
    purchased 4 xbox360 consoles plus a few that already passed on plus multiple copies of games so we could all play on-line together.what an experience-yes an experience 4 our wallets.thanks again for listening to yet another dissatisfied user family.bring back

    Join XBOX Live Family Gold Package

    This may only be helpful if already in a family pack, since Microsoft have stopped the Xbox LIVE family pack join process now.

    Just an FYI, you can get gold a lot cheaper if you don't purchase it directly from Live. A lot of other places offer deals on gold all the time for about $30-$40 for a 12 month. Right now boxdeals.com has a 24-month card on sale for $69.99 ($35 per year).

    • What is a primary and secondary Family Pack account?
    The Xbox LIVE account used to purchase a Gold Family Pack membership is the primary Family Pack account. All other Xbox LIVE accounts associated with the Family Pack membership are secondary accounts.

    To see and add family pack members:

    On your console, sign in using the Xbox LIVE account that you used to sign up for a Family Pack membership (the primary account).

    Go to Settings, and then select Family.

    The primary and secondary accounts are shown. To add or remove family members, please see

    Managing Gold Family Pack members.

    There is no family pack

    The only family pack option is on the Xbox one

    All the accounts you wish to add to the family pack need to be on the same console as the primary account.

    Edit: As far as I am aware, once an account has been added to a family pack it can be moved to another console.
