Family organizer have Xbox PC restrictions

Hello I just subscribed to game pass, trying to install Battlefield but I get the following message "Has a classification above the restrictions of (Username) ", although I I am the only family member , the adult, the organizer . I cant really see where this restriction is coming from ?

Please log out of the Xbox app and the Microsoft store app, after this restart the PC and log back in, remember that the email that has the subscription active must be logged in the Microsoft Store app

That should be enough however some users have to change their privacy settings, you can do this here

https://account.xbox.com/en-US/settings

you will have to change the programming in the third column, from standard to familiar, save and then change again

Oh, that's the reason
If you are not a family organizer, you probably have some restrictions on your account.

Only the parent/adult accounts are the ones that can change these settings for you

Thanks for sharing this information.

Since you have an adult account, would you please ask your parents to add you back to the family group, but this time as an Organizer instead of a Member?

The steps to do this (for web, family safety app and Xbox) can be seen here:

Make sure you are invited as an organizer, not a member. This will make you have other policies on the group and any child filter/restriction should be gone.

If the issue persists, please let me know if you are having screen time limits on the Xbox or on the PC.

It looks like the issue is more like you are being restricted by Microsoft Family Safety.

If you have joined a family group, then you can log in here and find the organizer or administrator of your family group:

If you can identify that you are in a family group, please let me know and I will provide you with the steps to remove the restriction, which you can have your family organizer or administrator do for you.
