    Family Mode


    I was given a pre-owned Xbox 360, but the previous owner does not remember the passcode or the answer for the security question for family mode that they put on it when they had it. Is there any way to fix this without having to call support? The current
    state is that the console is set in family mode.

    Sorry to hear it. The code is linked to the console's serial number so I'm afraid contacting phone support to go through the reset process is your only option. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

    Xbox store search does not show genre results

    I do not recall ever enabling family mode. Moreover, M rated games appear in the shop anyway, so if the family mode actually is enabled then its not working.

    I am trying to play mycareer on NBA 2K23 but it says I need to change a setting for my child account, however I am unsure which setting I need to change.

    Yes I am in a family group, I changed my account settings with the parent account in the family, the settings on my account are saved but it won’t allow me to play that specific mode.
