    Family member can't play games without account manager being signed in


    Until a week ago, my son was able to play any game on my Xbox without me having to sign in. Now, I (account manager) have to be signed in for him to play. I do have an Xbox live gold account. We have two Xbox consoles so it limits us when we want to play
    together due to being able to only sign in to one console at a time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    It turns out I had the wrong console as my home box. Thanks for the help.

    I have two consoles, one for my daughter and son to share and one for me with my sons profile on it as well. When he tries to sign on to my console it asks him to buy game pass or live gold if I'm not signed in. The console that my daughter has is set
    as the home box.

    as you are the person with Live Gold, sign in on your son's Xbox and set it as your Home Xbox (it may have been reset during an update) then he should be able to play without you needing to be signed in.
