  1. Family listed unrecognizable

I tried to join a clan on xbox one and the message that popped up said that I couldn't join because of parental settings or something like that. So I checked who was listed as my family member and it was a username that I have never seen before and my parents
have never seen before. And I don't know how to take off parental control when I don't know who this person is. Also I am 17 which in my state is listed as a legal adult so will the parent control be lifted????

    :)

Set up Xbox on new tv. Logged in. But can’t find my child’s account which should be under mines

Go to Settings -> Account -> Family Settings -> Manage Family Members

    Is her account listed there?

  3. disc unrecognizable

Hey there Sea! Is this happening with every disc you use, or just certain ones? Which ones are not working? Do these same discs work in other consoles properly? Let me know, thanks!

It's possible that the account belongs to one of your parents, but the gamertag is just one you don't recognize. They may have gotten a forced name change, etc. Have them try to sign in and see what happens. You can also try to promote your child to adult
status. Here's how to do it on Xbox One: http://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/security/promote-child-account?lc=1033

  6. You don't need your parent to promote your account if you're 18 or older:

Once a person turns 18, he or she can follow the steps here to promote their account.

    • On your Xbox 360 console, sign in to Xbox Live using the account that you want to change.
    • Go to Settings and select Account.
    • In the Your Information panel, select Promote Child Account.
    • If you’re prompted to sign out of a current game session, select Yes.
    • On the “Promote your current Xbox Live child account to an adult account” screen, select Continue.

Their account signs in perfectly fine on xbox one but it shows it as his own gamertag not the one that's listed in my account. And I or my parents can't promote my account to adult status because the person that has control of my parental settings we don't
know the email or password for it to be changed.

Cannot Access Forza Horizon Community Creations

Hello! Sorry for this issue, does it say which family you are in? (please exclude any personal information) If it's putting you in a random family then someone obviously has access to your account. So check your sign-in activity. If you see any unrecognizable sign in an activity I would recommend changing your password but I'm assuming you can't change it without the "parent" in your "Microsoft family"

    Unrecognizable disk

    1. If you installed your game on hdd - delete it

    2. Look in "storage" ->"hard drive" -> "games and apps" ->"black ops 2" if there are

some "corrupted files". If so delete it too.

    3. Delete system cache

    4. Try the game again
