    The account im on right now is in a family group that i cannot leave because it is listed as a kid and there is no organizer in the group and if there is i cannot check who the organizer is. So why is this a bad thing? for some reason this causes it where i cannot play multiplayer on this account on minecraft. so like my minecraft account just doesnt work because multiplayer is disabled and i cannot do anything to fix it. I tried to add them to a new family group that i actually have control over but i need to leave the one im currently in first (which i cant) what do i do?

    Yes, you can join a family group on Xbox after previously leaving. However, please note that family group features and availability may vary depending on your location and account settings. Below are general steps for joining a family group on Xbox:

    Open the guide on your Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the controller.

    From the drop-down menu, select "Add or Change" under the "Family" section.

    No, it is not. I thought I mentioned in the post that I even tried adding it to a family group, tested the settings, and then switched it so that it was the manager of the family group. Neither of those things worked. It is now not part of a family group. In addition, each of the times I attempted to access the settings from the account that was only listed as a member, not as the owner of the family group, I was unable to even get to the page that displays the settings. This leads me to believe that being part of a family group has no bearing on the issue at hand.

    Hi, this can be a bit odd but can you try leaving the family group and try once you're alone?
    (If you're the only family organizer in the group please add first another account as family organizer (or you can create a new one for this purpose)

    If everything looks good outside the family group. Go back to the group and try again once you're in (don't forget to add yourself as family organizer)

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If he is old enough he will have an option to remove himself from the family group via https://account.microsoft.com/family but if he is not yet an adult, you will be needing to ask your EX to remove him, it can only take 1-2 minutes of his time.
