    Family Gold Question...


    Quick question....wasn't too sure where to post this.

    My family signed up for the Family Gold accounts a couple of years back, and I understand that they're doing away with family accounts for the 360 now (insert rant here).

    However, since I don't feel the need to pay $60 for each member of the family to play online, I'm just wondering if I need to remove everyone from the family account before it expires - or will they all be removed automatically - or will they just be changed
    to regular gold accounts (thus charging me $60 for each of the four accounts).

    The family pack was finished back in march 2013, i would be very surprised if you were still on it.

    Your family members should be downgraded to silver automatically as long as their auto renew payments are turned off.

    Hello cptmajestic1 - You can add the second member to your XBOX Live Family Gold Pack by following the directions on this page:

    support.xbox.com/.../managing-family-members.aspx. As soon as that process completes and the user shows up as Gold then you should be able to use the second account to play on XBOX Live as well.
