Family before Xbox?

So recently my mom had lost her job in Louisville, KY so we ended up having to move because there were not a lot of opportunities for and Systems implementations manager in that area. For the time that she didnt have a job we burnt through our savings and
when it finally came time to move we were very short on money. We ended up having to sell many of our belongings just to be able to move down south where there are more job opportunities. Now me, being a 14 year old boy who loves xbox had the idea to sell
my xbox to make a few extra dollars and meet the amount we needed for the move, but I tried to keep the idea to my self because my xbox is my way to have fun without having to deal the anxious feeling of talking to people in real life and when it came to
xbox I just felt good while playing. So I was determined to find a way to get the extra hundred dollars for the move and finally came to the horrible conclusion that I would have to sell my xbox one for my family's sake. Its had now been three months and things
are getting better for my family but I am having difficulty settling in and not having my baby was no help as I am stuck having to find other ways to entertain myself. I want to get a new xbox but i cant afford one and i dont want to be left behind when the
Xbox one x gets released. So does anyone have any ideas on how to get a new xbox that wont cost to much an do you think what i did was the right thing to do? (sorry for any typos or improper grammar it lat and im not feeling it)

Family Pack Unredeemed Account

I purchased an Xbox live family pack before it was discontinued but one of the memberships wasn't redeemed before the family packs were discontinued. Is there a way to still redeem the unused membership?
