Family - Adult/Child relationships containing game information/awards/achievements

When I bought my kids Xbox I originally set up a adult account and two child accounts. I have one son 12 and another 10. I was told that in order for my oldest to play certain games he needed to have some rights of an 'adult account' So he was using my adult
account playing Fortnite/BattleFront/BlackOps and started sharing my gamertag informantion to connect with his friends and was also racking up awards/achievements in the games I mentioned. I didn't until recently that he has access to my account (cc) information
and can edit settings on all three accounts using my adult account. He is not doing anything bad (for now), but I don't want him having full control over all the accounts. My questions is...Is there a way to take all the data (awards/gamertag/friends/achievements)
from my adult account which my oldest son is currently using and move them over to his child account so he doesn't lose his game information?

Family settings

I need help setting up family settings. It always says to add an adult to the family but not a child. How do I change my account from an adult to a child?

Cross-platform for child accounts don't work, no matter what settings I set

The cross-platform setting does not enable on a child account.

I have tried several options including:

Account setup as a child in the MS family account and Xbox

Account setup as a child in the MS family account but the Xbox settings all set to adult/unrestricted

Account setup with over 18 Date of Birth in the MS family account but still a Child and the Xbox settings all set to adult/unrestricted

Account setup as Adult in the MS family account and Xbox settings all set to adult/unrestricted

Changing the child account to Adult and Xbox settings all set to adult/unrestricted.

Can someone help me how to set up my kid's accounts so they can play together?

In short answer, there is no possible way to accomplish transferring account data.

What can be transferred however, is email information!

What I am describing involves following this How to change the email address associated with your Microsoft
account article, that way the email credentials used to sign in can be declared as his without having any compromise to your account.

Thanks for your post! To have an adult account treated like a child account, simply add the adult account to a Microsoft Family as a child. The Microsoft family will then treat said account as a child. For more information on adding members to families check

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. An adult account will need to be tied to the child account through a family in order to regulate the

child account settings. Once the settings are updated for the child account, the child account should be able to redeem the prepaid code for the game. The article entitled

how to add a child to a family account contains information on how to set up a family. Be sure to let us know the results!

I find it silly and frustrating that I am an adult. But because I am associated with a "Gold Family Pack" that I have Parental Controls applied to me and that I cannot be both an adult in age and not a "child" of the Gold Family Pack.

Considering that this is a Family pack, it seems necessary to support families that contain two adults. That are actually treated both as adults by the overarching Store and systems.
