Family account with new and old Xbox

I will be getting a new xbox series x soon. My son and I currently use an xbox one s and i am the primary account holder with the game pass subscription. My son is set up on the family account and uses a different profile for his gaming. When i get the
series x, how should i set it up ao he can still use the one s and i have my account on the series x? Will we both have access to previously purchased games?

If your son is to keep using the Xbox One S, then I suggest making sure the console is set as the home console using your account. That way he will continue to play the games, and you will be able to play on the Xbox Series X. For info on the home Xbox

As long as you leave the One S as your Home console (https://beta.support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox),
your son will still have access to your games/Gold.

I set up the new Xbox with the same account as the old one. Made it the Home console. Then added my son's Microsoft account as a family member.

im on a secondary account on a family and i just moved my account from my old hardrive to a new one and now i cant go on line cause im not with my family and i cant remove my self and i have the new xbox so i cant put my old hardrive in so i cant get to
