Family account trying to set up app setting and game play time

My 9-year-old set up his Xbox and I need to set up app time and playtime stuff under the family stuff. The problem is my husband set up the acct and my son is an organizer and I need to remove him as an organizer and add him as a child so I can limit his play time.

He uses his Xbox to watch Netflix as well and I am finding he is sneaky and playing his game when he isn't supposed to so I would like to change settings. Is this possible and how do I remove him from being an organizer?

    :)

Try setting up a family on Xbox and adding him to it. This will allow you to set screen time, restrict apps and games, etc. Hope this helps!

Screen time limits on Xbox not working

    Hello Sew_mama,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I can see that you're experiencing issues with screen time limits on Xbox. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.

First, make sure that your Xbox console is up to date with the latest software updates. You can do this by going to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update.

Next, check that the screen time limits are still set up correctly. You can do this by going to account.microsoft.com/family and signing in with your Microsoft account. From there, select your child's account and check the screen time limits.

If the screen time limits are still set up correctly, try resetting your Xbox console. To do this, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off. Then, turn it back on and check if the screen time limits are working.'

If none of these steps work, you can contact Xbox support for further assistance. They will be able to provide more in-depth troubleshooting and help you resolve the issue.

We're looking forward to hearing from you. If there are any inquiries about our description or if there are any misconceptions, do reply to the post.

    Game pass and child account

Did you set up your family account? Go to settings, Account, Family Settings, Manage family Members, Add to Family. it will cost about 1.50 per kid. But it will be able to set time limits and everything and they will be able to game share with you. Which
brings me to the next Answer, to set up gameshare go to settings, ( if not already there) go to personalization, my home Xbox and make it your home xbox. Hope this helps. I have 4 kids and had to do this for all so they can all play games.
