family account on 3 xbox's

Family packs were designed for a family, such as a parent and 3 children. The primary is the "adult" account and the other 3 are considered "child" accounts. The child or secondary accounts are treated as "child" accounts no matter what the age is of the
account holder. If you have a family pack made up with adults on the plan then 3 of them will be treated as "child" accounts.

You can only share games/gold on your Home console and you can only have 1 console set as your Home at a time. You could set 1 of their consoles as your Home so they would not longer need your account on it, but you would either need to sign into the other
console or buy a 2nd subscription and/or game.

So, I need THREE xbox live accounts. One for each. I don't see an option for a family account, so thats $15 x 3 = $45 a month? There has to be a family option.

Xbox family was ended and not being offered to new customers in march 2013. In August of 2013 they announced that any accounts that were currently using a family plan would be converted into a Standard Individual accounts.

Part of that conversion included an extra 3 months added onto the end of the subscription for each of the accounts.

This was emailed to the lead account on every family plan.

You don't, family accounts already exist for up to four family members. I have family membership for myself and two children for 3 Xbox's.

It works out cheaper for me this way and when I converted our individual Gold accounts it compensated me with a monetary reduction for the remainder of the memberships.
