    to have 3 Xboxes online at the same time you need at least 2 Live Gold subscriptions.

    if you and your son have Live Gold (or Game Pass Ultimate) you should make the 3rd Xbox the Home Xbox for your account (or your son should make it his Home Xbox depending on which of you has the games your youngest wants to play).

    you will still have full access to all your games and subscriptions on your Xbox (as long as you are connected to the internet) and your youngest will be able to play online at the same time as you

    If you're using the One make sure you have the console set as your Home console. That will allow them to access any games and gold subscription on your account without you needing to be signed in.

    The Home setting allows other profiles to access games downloaded from Game Pass and Gold, but other benefits, like cloud gaming, discounts, etc. are only available for the account that purchases the subscription.
