Family Access to Game Pass

I have set my Xbox console as the home xbox. My son is a member of the family on xbox.

However, when he tries to play any game i downloaded from Game Pass, he is taken to the Microsoft store. Also when i look at subscriptions when his profile is active it doesnt show Gamepass as being shared. Instead it tells how to buy it.

what else do i need to do to get him access?

But my subscription is for Game Pass Ultimate and not for Game Pass for PC... My family should have access to the games, right? Otherwise, what is the family plan for?

Thanks - I have set the Xbox as the Home Xbox. Turns out this only seems to be a problem with the new Minecraft Dungeons.

You would need to set the console as your Home console in order to share the games https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

Keep in mind that since the Game Pass was not purchased on his account it still won't show him as having Game Pass since he's only accessing them through the Home setting.

I upgraded to the Ultimate pass myself and the family still has access to my Gold and Game Pass games on the home console so you should still be good to go.
