Falsely accused of cheating/modding

About an hour ago, I was sent an inappropriate message and I have reported the user, and the user is getting his friends to report me and they all messaged me saying I'm cheating and modding which I'm not because I know of the consequences of cheating and
modding. what will happen ? I've contacted Xbox support via phone. What should I do ?

You're perfectly safe unless your console is modded and you're not telling. But as long as you play by the rules, don't hack, modify or attempt to alter the game from it's original content to achieve an advantage, then you are perfectly fine. It could just
be a silly lag pocket that led that player to think you cheated. he might have seen you prone one second, got a lag pocket and then you were up and filling him full of digital lead.

Don't worry at all. enjoy the game and don't let those folks distract you, it could be they done that to mess with your rhythm and make you worry, which in fast paced games distracts you and gets you wiped out easier because you mind is not IN the game.

Hello, Today i was playing some Black Ops 2 and jumped up, turned around and got this guy. He sent me a message saying "nice hack kid" and stuff like that he also said he was gonna get all his friends to report me, I do not know how to hack/mod. Anyway i
was wondering if i would get automatically banned for having all those complaints filed against me? Im worried because i have so much time and effort put into my games and dont want that taken away becuase someone was mad they got beasted on.

As long as you have not done anything to violate the code of conduct, you have nothing to worry about. They can be banned for filing false complaints. The best thing to do would just be to ignore them.

There is no way to be banned only because someone else say this to you.
The only way to get banned is if you did something that breaks the Xbox rules.

If you has been banned, the only way to appeal is via this site: https://enforcement.xbox.com/
there you can view your enforcement history or start a case review if applicable.

PS: no one here in the forums and even customer support is capable to assist with enforcement actions

Alright thanks. I'm also wondering how long it would take ms to ban my account? Btw it really did take my mind off the game as soon as I got that message it went downhill. Thanks for the replies

You can use the Report Button to either Request a Lock of the Thread or Delete it. More then likely it might just be Locked.
