Falsely Accused of Cheating and Reported

Having had Xbox Live for 9 years, My Reputation has always been "Good" until now. I checked my reputation history on the Enforcement Site and it showed that for that last 6 months, my record has been spotless except for a handful of reports. I got gang reported
by a group of 6 people and that was enough to drop my reputation from "Good" to "Avoid Me". I now can't find games in Overwatch or Halo. Getting falsely reported has caused me to not be able to play games. This needs to be addressed.

The Reporting System is being abused and misused and innocent people are paying the price for it (while paying for Xbox Live, which due to this, they can't use). I need me profile reputation reset due to a small group of people misusing the Report system.

I've had a good Repuation for 9 years until recently when I had a group of 6 people falsely report me for cheating in Overwatch. People are abusing and misusing the Xbox report system and its keeping people from play games. I've checked my Report History
on the Enforcement website and have only been report 6 times-- that was enough to decay my reputation from "Good" to "Avoid Me".

I now cant get into any game for Overwatch or Halo. I literally can't play the games I pay to play on Xbox Live because the Report System is flawed and is being abused. The flood of similar threads on this page further prove that. This NEEDS to be escalated
be someone that works at Microsoft-- the system DOES NOT work and is being ABUSED.

I've already seen the Enforcement site. It's nothing useful. Based on the volume of these types of threads, it's clear there's an issue with the current system and it's abuse to wrongfully target people.

 

I'd also like to clarify that all the reports were done at the same time, it wasn't a constant stream of reports. It was literally, a one time thing.

 

I"m also in the same boat as you I only have 3 reports on my account in the past 6 months and I went from being good to avoid me with nothing in between. I"m pretty sure its cause people block me on Overwatch since I do fairly well everygame. Ultimately
I feel like Xbox might not do nothing about it and simply keep it under the rock considering how they respond to most people that have the issue we have.

 

I also experienced this, along with many of the top Overwatch players.

I am unable to file a case report, and have tried playing other games all week.

dkore if by "to file a case report" you meant to file for a case review, you need to know that a case review can be filed only in case of an enforcement action. Your falling rep situation is not indicative of a suspension; it’s possible to have a low reputation
score without violating the Microsoft Services Agreement or Code of Conduct,

Instead, reputation reflects how the Xbox Live community views a player’s behavior over time. So try to play a variety of games with a large pool of gamers to better your rep and above all try to be a sport and enjoy gaming for gaming sake.

 

My mistake, I figured a case review might help. In that case, there's apparently no appeal to getting unjustly put in bad rep. A few players can report/block you to avoid getting matched up against you, and then we have to suffer the consequences. Getting
a suspension for a violation is one thing, but ths Rep system is seriously flawed.

I really hope the Enforcement team will address our issue.

 

Hello and good evening. Been on Xbox Live for eight years here and this is the first time that I have been dipped in such a category and I cannot even play online with people because of this flawed reputation system.

Other players had reported me falsely for cheating despite that I have been casually minding my own business and playing GTA Online without getting in the way of others and doing what I just want to do. I have been playing GTA Online ever since it's launch
on October 2nd, 2013 and have a legitimate level, K/D and in-game amount of money. I have never, ever used a JTAG Xbox 360 nor used those cheating DNS servers that plague GTA Online on the 360.

My current rank on my main GTA Online character on the Xbox One is Level 746. And that rank is expected to be seen with almost three years of playing the game, even being part of a few live streams with Rockstar before. However, due to the JTAG issue on
the 360 along with the character transfer system, there have been many alternate accounts being made with ridiculous profiles, ranks, K/Ds, modded stats, impossibly high GTA money amounts and invisible/glitched character bodies.

I even take screenshots of every cheater I see in lobbies. I refuse to engage them, but I like to save evidence that may come in handy. I even report said cheaters through the usual menu and block them too.

Yet, a legitimate player such as me gets reported just for minding his own business and playing the game? I understand some people cannot tell I'm a legitimate player, but it shows on my Rockstar Social Club profile and stats (

Also, I checked my reputation on the enforcement page, and it also seems to be confused as to what I am. And those reports I got against me all seemed to happen within the last week to today. (

As for the communication issues, I know I have been recently suspended for one week for communication, but I had accepted it and waited until it was lifted.

This system really needs to be looked at again. I know some of the games here take their reports and stat readings differently, but even then, the amount of people being sent to the "Avoid Me" reputation is picking up again, and it hurts legitimate players
mostly.

If there is any way to fix this issue rather than hoping I could somehow end up in matchmaking in other games (again, somehow...) I would appreciate it. I'm even trying to get into other games, but with no luck at all.

We need an actual solution from the Enforcement team. Playing non-Rep games is not helping (I've been playing games I'm not even interested in for hours a night, and no changes for a week still). Posting in the User Voice section doesn't help either. There
have been numerous suggestions already posted there, and nothing has changed. Even game developers and Xbox Support representatives have admitted that this is a serious issue.

WE NEED AN ACTUAL SOLUTION OR CHANGE TO THE SYSTEM.
