    FALSE REPORTS AND SUSPENSIONS


    I am literally not sending any messages on any of my accounts and I am receiving suspensions. Enforcement says that my messages contain abusive language and harassment, but I assure you that it is NOT TRUE. I have been receiving false reports and someone
    needs to look at my account. I rarely send messages and I mostly talk to friends, NOTHING I have done relates to trolling/harassment/profanity/abusive threats. No one has my account info but me.

    A few days ago I literally made a new account and the only thing I did was change the gamertag to something APPROPRIATE and the next time I sign into it, I get a suspension notfication. I really need some help, this is driving me crazy.

    Hi there,

    No one but an Enforcement team member can respond to any suspension items and they do not use the forums. If you haven't done so already, you can submit a case review

    Keep in mind suspensions are issued only after a report has been investigated. More info on how suspensions are determined can be found here:

    false report

    Submitting a case review is the only way to possibly have your suspension lifted. You should be able to retake the questionnaire after 24 hours.

    The suspension would have been issued because you did something to violate the code of conduct, not because you received a lot of reports. You can be reported a million times and not receive a suspension.

    Thats so bull. i got a suspension for inappropriate content even tho i have no bio and a gt by the name of and an appropriate profile pic. Don't believe me? Check for yourself because the enforcement team doesn't

    If they did not investigate EVERY report and gather evidence that their was a violation of the code of conduct it would be setting themselves up for lawsuits.

    Some suspensions (normally ones that are for short periods of time around one day) are not eligible for case reviews because the suspension would be over by the time the enforcement team reinvestigates the report.

    As long as your grandson is following the code of conduct which can be read here
    https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/codeofconduct even if someone reports him then he will not be suspended but if he does anything that violates the code of conduct and it gets reported
    then the enforcement team investigates the report and if there was a violation then they suspend the account if there was not a violation then they will not suspend the account.

    With the seven day suspension you can go onto enforcement.xbox.com and file for a case review and appeal the suspension the enforcement team will then reinvestigate the report and determine if they can lift the suspension sooner.
